Will Barry Bonds have a Major League job this season? Probably not. Baseball's exhiled home run king has since found a new gig as spokesman for Christensen Arms. I first read about this in the
San Francisco Chronicle, who note that Christensen is "a munitions company that specializes in high-powered hunting rifles." Apparently, Bonds and Jeff Kent have more in common than we thought:
When a federal grand jury in San Francisco indicted Bonds last year on perjury and obstruction of justice charges for allegedly lying about steroids use, Bonds wasn't around - he was off hunting in Colorado.
If you're too curious not to watch this video, you can find it at
You Been Blinded. I tried watching a couple minutes and it just made me want to gag.
***Rather than watching Bonds hunt deer, I'd much prefer to listen to this great band,
Deerhunter, whose new album,
Microcastle, is quite stunning.
