Barry Bonds Replaces Orange and Black With Cammo

Will Barry Bonds have a Major League job this season? Probably not. Baseball's exhiled home run king has since found a new gig as spokesman for Christensen Arms. I first read about this in the San Francisco Chronicle, who note that Christensen is "a munitions company that specializes in high-powered hunting rifles." Apparently, Bonds and Jeff Kent have more in common than we thought:
When a federal grand jury in San Francisco indicted Bonds last year on perjury and obstruction of justice charges for allegedly lying about steroids use, Bonds wasn't around - he was off hunting in Colorado.
If you're too curious not to watch this video, you can find it at You Been Blinded. I tried watching a couple minutes and it just made me want to gag.

Rather than watching Bonds hunt deer, I'd much prefer to listen to this great band, Deerhunter, whose new album, Microcastle, is quite stunning.

It has been difficult to be a Giants fan these last several years - losing records, injuries, and bad contracts. We may be critical - but we stand by our team through good times and bad. The Giants remain one of the most storied franchises in the history of baseball and have a crop of new stars ready to add new pages to the Giants history books. Lincecum, Cain, Sanchez, Wilson and Sandoval are giving us reasons to be excited. Times may not always be stellar, but the Giants always give us something to talk about.
